Resin Paste and Fiberglass Bulldog Head Castings

After removing these bulldog heads the real fun starts!

Now I've got to create bodies to fit these heads and resculpt facial and body details. To do this, I use several different durable materials that work really well outside.

Maggie the Miniature Dachshund Sculpture

We have had at least one Miniature Dachshund in our home for over the last 17 years. I've always enjoyed their company mainly because I think that they are so comical to watch. When our first dachshund 'Maggie' was alive I used her as my model for sculpting her in the classic Doxie sitting pose while resting in a small flower bed. The original sculpture was cast in bronze which I still have and still get a great amount of joy looking at.
I've recently decided to offer this sculpture as an open edition casting series. Each of these castings are fabricated from a rugged marble-filled resin which gives a very nice weight to the piece and the final finish is a high quality bronze powder metal coating that is polished to bring out the metal and then coated with a superior UV and rust inhibitor that will provide many years of protection if placed outdoors.
You may go to my Etsy shop for more info about this miniature dachshund sculpture.

In Memory of "The Green-Eyed Monster"

This is to hoping that in doing this sculpture I've conquered (or at least subdued) any future battles that may arise with the ol' Green-Eyed Monster by putting him in a little jewelry box and hanging him on the wall until someone wants to use him for the same reason. I call this one "The Jealous Eye" and the red facial color is denoting the angry spirit that accompanies ol' Green Eye.

You can see more pics of this little jewel at my Etsy shop. The metal pull handle is still attached to the top. Thsi piece can sit alone or hung on a wall.

Nude Woman, Boots and Wine ... Low Relief Clay Sculptures

This is an 8 x 10 art print of a nude female relief that I sculpted a few years ago after I was challenged to come up with a female design that would really leave a great deal to the imagination yet still be considered a nude rendering of the female form. This print is available at my Etsy shop.

The watermark shown on either of these photos do not appear on the final images.

This is a photo of an original sculpted relief that I did of a high heeled boot and a wine glass. An idea that I had after thumbing through a women's fashion magazine while searching for a gift. Great photo for a restaurant or cafe. This print is available at my Etsy shop as well.
